Painting throughout her life whenever possible, Marcia is self taught.
A member of The Society of Women Artists, Teddington Riverside Art Group and Molesey Art Society, she has an extensive catalogue of watercolours including botanical pieces.

2002: Marcia received the HRH Princess Michael of Kent Award for the most outstanding watercolour in show at the SWA Annual Exhibition.
2003: Finalist in "Not the Turner Prize" The Mall Galleries.
2004 & 2005: Arthur Henderson Hall Award for the most perceptive painting in show,
2010: Christopher Bounsel Award at Molesey Art Society's Spring Exhibitions.
